A Morning with the Sky

Many times, my mind feels blank.
I don’t know what to write.
But I will try again.

Today, I saw a beautiful blue sky with scattered clouds. Suddenly, I saw the moon. She was hiding behind the clouds, shy at first. But then, she slowly showed her face. She was smiling.

I said “hello” to her, and then she went back behind the clouds. She didn’t say anything. She just smiled.

The morning continued. The sun started to rise and sent out soft, warm rays. It felt comforting, like a gentle hug.

I also saw several birds, including a bright red cardinal. He looked so proud and full of life. He seemed happy to see me, and he began to sing just for me.

It was beautiful!
